Beegien sold to SFN
After the Dutch Championships in Ermelo the 5 years old Beegien from breeders Ed en Ineke Santing and ridden by Juulia Jylas was the talk of many jumping lovers. The brown son of Contendro jumped amazing at the last round, which gave him a lot of attention. Also during the World Championships for young horses in Lanaken, Beegien jumped all days clear and only had one down in the final. Reason for the SFN (Springpaarden Fonds Nederland = Dutch Fund for Keeping jumping horses for Olympics in Holland) to take contact. After a trial Beegien was sold to the SFN and will be in the future in the hands of shooting star Willem Greve as "SFN Beegien". The name got Beegien from his breeder Ed Santing because father Contendro was owned by Ed's friend Be van de Beeke, a famous camera man on horse shows and by his friends named ""Beegien". The mother of Beegien is the mare Van Ed, a mare from Quick Star out of a Capitol, which jumped international shows with Juulia Jylas. Willem Greve jumped SFN Beegien already at some national shows and its seems very promising. We congratulate the Santing Family with their breeding succes and wish the SFN all the luck with their new star!

Victory Upper Appel in Japan
We were very pleased to receive lately an email from Japan. Happy new owner Yuta Akatsuka wrote us that he is very pleased with Upper Appel, the gelding by Phin Phin x LIbero (Oberlina line). The combination won laletely the first price in a National competition in Japan. Yuta writes: "Please if you have a chance, let me ride such a horse again". We wish Yuta and Upper Appel lots of more success!
The best Berlin stallions - Zalerno and Zilverstar T
Two Berlin foals born in one year at one stable (4 breeding mares) and both the best 7 years in their part of the world. That happens maybe one time in your life. Our bred Zalerno (Zeppelin T) out of TT (Esprit) won last weekend in Canada 2 classes with the Mexican Jaime Azcarraga. In same weekend Zilverstar T (by Triest Star- Cavalier) was succesfull with Olivier Philippaerts (Belgium) at the CSI Valkenswaard. We are looking forward to the World Championships in Valkenswaard and are very proud to be the breeder of the two best Berlin sons in the world.
Ziferdy 2nd in De Wolden
The 7 years old starmare Ziferdy was placed 2nd of 140 combinations. Juulia JYlas jumped the mare of Ovidius x Jasper x Lucky Boy xx in the medium tour (1.35 - 1.40 m.).
Avantos best 6 years in De Wolden
During the CSI 2 stars in De Wolden our 6 years old stallion Avantos turned out to be the most succesfull 6 years. The son of Mermus x Lux (same dame as our Grand Prix horse Tavanta) was placed three days in a row and the most steady 6 years. After easy winning the line jumping in Hattem (1.70 m.) again Avantos showed his scope and carefullness.
Fresh start Tavanta in new year
After having a break because of an alzer, our favorite horse Tavanta did it again during the international show in Zwolle (13 - 16 january). During all days the mare by Indoctro didnt touch one pole. Around 100 combinations started in the final of the medium tour (1.40 m.) of which only 25 were placed for second round. Again clear and with 9 other combinations Juulia Jylas and Tavanta were placed for the winning round. Tavanta was already starting in the beginning and clocked a very fast time, which only Dutch Yves Houtackers was able to beat. A 2 nd place in this ambiance was an oustanding start of 2011. See Juulia and Tavanta in Zwolle:Uleika star at WC Kentucky

September 2010
One of the best jumpers during the World Championships in Kentucky was Uleika. The only 9 years old mare by Atlantic x Ahorn was discovered last year by Herman van Triest at the national show in Hoofddorp, where she jumped the GP with the Frisian rider Anna Froukje de Vries. Herman couldnt forget the mare and told his Egyptian friend Karim el Zoghby about her. Togehther they tried the horse and Karim bought Uleika. The rest is a big successtory. Karim and Uleika were very succesfull last year with a 3 rd price in Championat von Manheim and 5 th place in GP Zwolle. At the World Championship the combination was 9 th the first day and still in the best 20 after the 2 nd day. Unfortunately at the 3 rd day they just couldnt reach the final.
Zilverstar T impresses the world

September 2010
Our favorite bred Zilverstar T (Picture Berlin x Cavalier x Quick Star x Burggraaf x Zeus x Lucky Boy) was by far out the most impressive shooting star during the World Championship for young horses in Lanaken (Belgium). The impressive grey stallion by Berlin ended as 5 th at the 6 years old jumpers ridden by European young rider champion Olivier Philippaerts. Because of his quality and high jumps in the sky he couldnt reach the fastest time. We congratulate owners Danny van den Bosch and Ludo Philippaerts, which we sold the stallion as 3,5 years old.

We hope Zilverstar T stays sound, because it will be again a bred by Stal van Triest who ll show up at Olympic Games!! It seems that for next year we ll promote the stallion for the Dutch breeders. Mother Triest Star (V.Cavalier= Mister) jumped already at 8 years old on Grand Prix level with Irish young rider Declan McCevoy (after educated by Juulia Jylas and sold as 5 years) and Grand Mother Obession (Quick Star) 1.40 m. with Juulia Jylas as 7 years. Zilverstar has 5 generations of Grand Prix Stallions and sportmares. Again a horse of Stal van Triest which brings luck!

Avantos to World Championships and only clear KWPN bred stallion

At the Dutch championships for young horses, Avantos (Mermus x Lux x Nimmerdor line Renville) ended up as the only Dutch bred stallion without one pole during all the three days. With this result the son of Mermus has earned a ticket for the World Breeding Championships for young horses in september at the domaine Zangersheide Lanaken. After 3 days of jumping bif fences, Avantos ended up at the 9 th place of 144 elected 5 years old jumping horses. Rider Juulia Jylas looks forward to enter an arena in front of a big audience because with his character it cant be big enough. We thank the Lanting Family in breeding our showjumpers because they didnt produce only Avantos for us but from same mother also our Grand Prix mare Tavanta. This makes it very intresting to breed with Avantos and we already have beautiful offspring of him. We also congratulate the most enthousiast owners there are: The Santing Family. We cant wait, Lanaken here we come!
Juulia 2nd GP De Wolden

In the FEI ranking GP de Wolden (Holland) last weekend Juulia Jylas jumped to a 2 nd place. Her partner in the arena was Tavanta. The oustanding mare by Indoctro x Lux x Nimmerdor proves again to be an exceptional showjumper.
